How we met:
Chris and Pammy have been together for about eight years, they met through a mutual friend when they were about 14 or 15. Pammy had a huge crush on him, but Chris thought she was weird and wanted nothing to do with her.
But then:
Several years later they met up again at a New Year's Eve Party and have been together ever since. Even Pammy going to a college three hours away couldn't keep them apart!
The engagement:
Pammy was planning an Xmas dinner party for her closest girlfriends and was running around all day like a crazy person trying to get things done. Chris calls around 2:30 in the afternoon and asked if she could stop by. He said he wanted to give Pammy her Xmas gift early, because it would look really great with her dress (it was a formal dinner party). Pammy thought nothing of this and assumed the gift was a necklace. About two hours later she finally made it to his house. As soon as Pammy walked in he was standing there waiting for her, the ring in his hand!
"I was so caught off guard, I screamed! He asked me to marry him and I just jumped into his arms and started crying. He was so nervous, it was so sweet. Finally he puts the ring on my finger and I said, "of course!"" -Pammy
"And it did go great with her dress." -Chris
